Learn How RIRO Resiliency Training Can Support Your Practice
Reaching IN… Reaching Out is a nationally recognized, evidence-based resilience skills training program designed for adults who work with young children.
Through practical strategies and guided reflection, RIRO helps educators build resilience, strengthen their ability to manage stress, enhance relationships with children and families, and approach challenging situations with greater confidence.
Participants leave with valuable tools to support their own well-being while fostering resilience and emotional growth in the children they care for.
Why choose RIRO facilitated by ADSN?
RIRO is a powerful program on its own, but taking it through ADSN makes the experience especially impactful for dayhome educators.
Tailored for Dayhomes
While RIRO is designed for all early childhood professionals, ADSN delivers the training through the lens of dayhome work. That means every example, discussion, and reflection is grounded in real dayhome situations — from managing mixed-age groups and long solo days to navigating parent relationships and emotional exhaustion.
Facilitated by a Dayhome Professional
Danielle Bourdin is a certified RIRO facilitator and the Executive Director of ADSN. Drawing from her time as a dayhome educator and her ongoing work with providers across Alberta, Danielle brings a deep understanding of the unique realities dayhome professionals face and delivers RIRO in a way that feels practical, relevant, and genuinely connected to the work educators do every day.
Program Delivery
RIRO is delivered live over Zoom in a small-group format that’s flexible, interactive, and designed with dayhome life in mind. Evening sessions make it easy for educators to attend after hours without added stress.
