dayhome dilemmas
Sometimes the best lessons come from the things that didn’t go according to plan. We’ll talk about real dayhome situations that led providers to rethink a routine, policy, environment, or approach. Share what you tried, what you changed, and what you learned that might help another provider facing the same thing.
Join us for afternoon networking – once per month!
Banish Burnout is a relaxed space designed to support dayhome providers in tackling stress and isolation. Each month, we gather on Zoom to watch a short video on burnout, stress, or self-care, and then open the floor for an organic group conversation. You’re welcome to jump in and share your thoughts, or simply listen and take in the ideas being shared—it’s all about connecting, recharging, and leaving with a little more energy for your dayhome journey.

Dayhome Closed, Brain Still Open
Closing the dayhome door doesn’t always mean your brain stops working. We’ll explore why mentally disconnecting from work is an important part of rest and recovery, especially when your workplace is also your home. Learn practical ways to create separation, switch off, and give your brain a chance to recharge.
CONNECT IN REAL LIFE
We also offer occasional opportunities to network with other dayhome professionals in real life!
We sometimes host occasional in-person gatherings where dayhome professionals can connect beyond the screen. These casual meet-ups often include dinner or another social activity—making space to relax, laugh, and share ideas with people who truly understand your work. Check our Events Calendar to see what upcoming in-person events and meet-ups are planned.
