ABOUT THIS SESSION

This engaging and reflective workshop explores how educators can intentionally support autonomy, agency, and independence in the early years. Participants will examine how everyday moments — including routines, transitions, and play — can become meaningful opportunities for children to make choices, express themselves, and build confidence in their abilities. Through practical examples and reflective discussion, educators will explore strategies for creating responsive environments where children are seen as capable, competent contributors to their learning community.
