Description
Join ADSN and the North Central Edmonton Family Resource Network for a five-session series inspired by the bestselling book *The Whole-Brain Child by Dr. Daniel J. Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson.
Designed for caregivers and educators working with children aged 3–12, this series explores how children’s developing brains influence their emotions, behaviours, and ability to manage everyday challenges.
Participants will learn about the connection between the emotional and logical parts of the brain, why children experience tantrums and meltdowns, and practical strategies to support emotional regulation, resilience, and positive relationships. Through easy-to-understand concepts and techniques such as Name It to Tame It, participants will gain tools they can apply in their everyday interactions with children
Registration Fee: $15
The full registration fee will be reimbursed upon full attendance. Each session is approximately one hour in length.
