Advocacy in early childhood education starts with how educators show up each day. For example, we show advocacy through our choices and relationships. We also show it through how we care for children and work with families. In this workshop, we explore professionalism, ethics, reflection, and quality care.

First, educators will look at their values, policies, and daily practices. Then, they will explore simple ways to grow and make positive changes. Participants will gain practical ideas they can use in their dayhomes, and learn how to become stronger leaders and advocates. Together, we can strengthen the dayhome community and become confident Protectors of Play.
