ABOUT THIS SESSION
Are you interested in supporting future early childhood educators while gaining an extra set of hands in your dayhome? Hosting a Makami College student offers a unique opportunity to share your knowledge and contribute to their hands-on learning experience.
In this virtual session, we’ll walk you through the process of welcoming a student into your dayhome, outlining what to expect, the benefits of participation, and the resources available to support you. You’ll gain insight into how students can assist with daily routines, enhance your program, and develop essential skills under your guidance.
Whether you’re considering hosting for the first time or simply want more information, this session will provide a clear overview of what’s involved and how it can be a rewarding experience for both you and the student.
Join us to explore how you can make a meaningful impact while strengthening your own dayhome community.
YOU MUST BE A LEVEL 2 or 3 ECE WORKING WITH AN AGENCY IN THE EDMONTON OR CALGARY REGION TO BE ELIGIBLE TO MENTOR A STUDENT IN YOUR DAYHOME.
