Catch the replay of our Playing with Learning Session tailored specifically for dayhome providers.
In this replay session, dayhome providers had the opportunity to dive into the foundations of play-based learning and explore how play supports every area of a child’s development. The workshop highlighted the importance of recognizing and nurturing key play skills—such as symbolic, cooperative, constructive, and exploratory play—and offered practical strategies for creating engaging, developmentally appropriate play experiences.
Participants walked away with fresh ideas for sensory stations, dramatic play setups, and building activities, along with techniques for observing and responding to children’s individual needs through play. This session empowered providers to build more intentional, enriching environments where learning happens naturally through play.
