ABOUT THIS SESSION
This session takes a holistic approach to burnout prevention and mental wellness for dayhome providers, offering practical strategies for self-care, stress management, and boundary setting. Attendees will gain valuable insights into fostering resilience in both their personal and professional lives, helping them maintain a sustainable and fulfilling career in early childhood care.
The first half of the presentation will focus on general burnout prevention, applicable to all dayhome providers regardless of location. The second half will dive deeper into the unique challenges and strengths of running a rural dayhome. This portion will address issues such as isolation, limited access to resources, and work-life balance while also recognizing the benefits of strong community ties and flexible environments.
